A large number of people still don’t know that the Government of Alberta has opened up the Rockies to open pit coal mining. The most efficient and direct way to raise awareness is by putting the information into people’s hands.
Volunteers will blitz sections of Calgary, delivering an Alberta Beyond Coal information sheet door-to-door. No door knocking, zero-contact.
We need as many volunteers as possible. The mail drop will generate letters to the government and more lawns – it’s direct impact. And great exercise!
