The Mountain Child Valley Society (MCVS) is hosting a highway drive rally this Saturday!
Saturday, June 12, 2021 10am to 2pm
Meet at Crowsnest Lake at 10 am!
Decorations – keep them simple. Painted # tags with washable Tempera paints are ideal or Vehicle markers, flags to be fastened down securely. Don’t paint windows. Feel free to paint what organization you are repen or what awareness you are going advocating, We are just trying to raise awareness.
Rules – obey all speed limits and Covid restrictions. So no getting out of our vehicles. Please wear covid face masks. If it’s a nice day, there will be a lot of people so social distancing will be in affect 6 ft rule, and stay in normal “Cohorts”
Route – from Crowsnest Lake to Brocket 45 min regular speed limit, When rally drive arrives at destination there will be volunteers with a orange safety jackets to direct traffic to park. Park Zone will be located in the old Napi’s Place parking lot. Following the drive a flat deck will be seat up with a P.A. System for speaches and information sharing about coal and water protection!
